PARENTING CLASSES AND OPPORTUNITIES
There are several different opportunities for parenting classes and groups available in King County. Finding a facilitator or group leader who resonates with you can sometimes be a challenge. It helps to have someone who is an inspiring and interesting speaker. If that is something you are interested in and currently looking for, I have a recommendation. At a recent PTA meeting, I had the opportunity to see Julietta Skoog who was a wonderful speaker. Even in a short 20 minutes presentation she portrayed a broad knowledge base, exceptional experience and brought great references. As a parent myself, I greatly appreciated her down to earth, relatable style. Julietta is a school psychologist in the Seattle school district, as well as leading groups in various neighborhoods throughout Seattle.
